Dubbed from @kidcapri101 ・・・ I won this ring at justo’s mixtape awards in 2000, when I blew up after def comedy jam, my focus was to make the DJ be looked at as an artist and not somebody just playing records, justo was a guy that felt the same way I did, the night before his death, he called me and ask what I thought about having the next mixtape awards at the Apollo or the beacon theatre, in new york I told him the Apollo, he said ok I'm gonna call you tomorrow, the next day he was in a fatal car accident, it was a heavy lost because justo was the first dude that stepped up for the Djs, and rewarded the ones that deserved to be rewarded for their contributions, he gave us these rings as a symbol of success, it wasn't a widely publicized event and the places he had them in wasn't even real big spots, but it meant something to all the Djs,,, rest in peace justo!! A real one!!! the next one to step up is @shawnprezidential with the global spin awards,,, you can see top Djs receive appreciation every year, its our on music grammy/oscar/American music awards!!! I was blessed to win 3 global spin awards, I appreciate all the fans !!! Shout to prez for what you do my brah!!
