Esurance Shows the Mixtape Museum Some Love

Esurance, one of the top names in auto insurance, released a commercial during the 2012 Olympics featuring the Mixtape. We searched online for days looking for the video; they finally released it today via Youtube and their blog! And they showed the Mixtape Museum some love.

“Remember when mix tapes were cool? Remember when getting a car insurance quote was cool? You’re right. It never was. But now, thanks to a little thing called the computer (and Express Lane™ from Esurance), getting a quote is as easy as hitting “shuffle” on your MP3 player.

Check out the latest Esurance commercial for the scoop on Express Lane quoting (and to see if you’re right about that famous Esurance commercial voice).

(And if you still think mix tapes are cool, check out the Mix Tape Museum.)

Here’s the transcript for all you readers

If it wasn’t for a little thing called the computer, we might still be making mix tapes. Find this. Pause this. Play this. Eject this. Write this.

It’s like the days before Esurance Express Lane — you had to find a bunch of documents just to get a car insurance quote. Now, Express Lane finds your driving info with just one click.

Saving time to be nostalgic. About the days before Express Lane.

Thank you, insurance for the modern world™.

Shout out to Heidi Wallis!
