International Hip Hop Parade (IHHP) Animated

The International Hip Hop Parade is pleased to announce the first parade for Hip Hop in the Bronx. “This is an event that will celebrate a culture that is a multi-billion dollar industry today. It was given birth right here in the Bronx, a fact that we are proud of. It is the reason that the parade will be held in the Bronx this July 14th and every year after by the grace of God says IHHP founder Al Pizarro.

The parade is now tentatively scheduled to be held on July 14th. The parade route will be disclosed in a separate press release.

Some of the iconic Hip Hop names and legends associated with the parade so far include:
DJ JAZZY JAY, DJ JAZZY JOYCE, GRAND WIZARD THEODORE, AFRIKA BAMBAATAA, FREEDOM WILLIAMS, SPYDER D, DJ TONY TONE, CRAZY LEGS, RED ALERT, CHARLIE CHASE, FELIX SAMA, BARON LOPEZ & GREG NICE.

Invitations are going out to Hip Hop icons all over the country, including Fat Joe, BDP’s KRS1, Sports Agent and former Queens rap star Glenn “Sweety G” Toby, west coast legends Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Detroit’s rising stars Donut and Ruff, grandson of Temptations legend David Ruffin and Hip Hop moguls, Sean “P DIDDY” Combs and Russell Simmons.

“We anticipate this parade to generate as much fanfare and excitement of any parade held in New York, parades like the Puerto Rican Day Parade and hopefully it can grow to be like the St. Patrick’s Day Parade or even the Thanksgiving Day Parade over time”, said Pizarro.

Join with us as we make history this July. Your organization can participate by marching with your banner or sponsoring a float.
